How I caught my first fish.

I'm sure that throughout your life, you've heard some really far fetched stories, of how your Granddad caught this massive fish, or about that one that got away...

Well, I myself have a story to add to the numerous collection of fishing stories.

Back in Sydney, my Granddad and I would go fishing. We'd wake up around 4, and drive over to a beach called Balmoral. At Balmoral, there was this really nice jetty, and we'd set up with our chairs, bait and tackle and get to business.

This time, was actually my first time fishing, and so as you can imagine, I was pretty excited. My Granddad had just bought me a new rod, and wheel, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

In a bit of a dilemma...

Ok, so I'm in a bit of a pickle on what to with my upload schedule.

I want to upload so many different video series, but I cannot do so unless I upload multiple videos a day.

I know that majority of my subscribers (or at least the ones that bother to leave a comment) express their love for my minecraft videos, but I don't want to limit myself to only one type of video. I'm sure if you're subscribed to me, you'll notice that I upload a massive variety of gameplays and commentaries.

I've seen a lot of big youtubers upload lots of minecraft, and then when they have expressed even the slight hint of not doing so, had chunks of their subscriber base become enraged, and even unsubscribe. I myself, never want to put myself in that sort of situation ever.

Lessons Learnt from Gaming - The Boss

Have you ever been in that situation, where you and someone else, someone of a higher importance, are sharing in an activity?

For example, if this was my dad, he'd be playing golf with his boss.

Myself? I'm playing a bit of Call of Duty with one of my favorite commentators.

What ever it is, there are some universal rules that apply.

Becoming 1337

It's funny how, just a 2 months ago I had just hit 400 subscribers. Did I care that I had so few? Yeah, I did. I'd been going at it for the best part of a year, and I didn't see to many results for my hard work (and it was hard, just one Minecraft episode required about 8hrs of work!).

But, I loved what I had. My subscribers had been great. They always left support, gave a little critizm every now and again, and really made my day!

I've not always been xDowsey. Back in February 2010, I started a YouTube account called ViiP3RzHD. My first video was a flawless nuke on Rust, MW2. My commentary was awkward! I ended this account in October though, as it had become a sniper fanboy channel... I uploaded one to many 1v1s...

And so, I started up xDowsey, some of my subscribers made the transfer. I had 200 on ViiP3RzHD, and I think 10-20 subscribed to xDowsey. Active subs FTW =/

Motivation

Lately, I really just haven't had the motivation to make or record a video.

I always have this rule, and I am quite strict with it. If I don't like the video, I won't post it. Now, to through some more punch into that rule, I am an OCD perfectionist. SO, if a video is even a tiny bit out, I'll try and edit it right, or scrap it.

(AND YOU WONDER HOW I MANAGE TO POST ALMOST DAILY)

I guess my problem is that I haven't felt myself lately. I've felt quite down, a bit on the depressed side. (but not in a serious way) So any time I've attempted to record a video, I haven't been my normal, high energy self, meaning I've scrapped the video...
